My client is looking for a long term contractor or potential perm candidate with strong SQL and PL/SQL experiences on Warehouse Management Systems within the Retail Sector.

The role is working on Manhattan WMS modules with some Oracle Retail.

Functional/Skills required.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge - Ability to write complex queries to identify and resolve data issues.
Strong functional knowledge of Retail and Warehouse operations (Purchase Order, Distribution Order, Warehouse Order Processing concepts, Despatch)
Experience in working on a complex integrated solution.
Ability to identify patterns in incidents (repeat incidents) and provide the inputs to the L3s to investigate further.
Excellent troubleshooting and Analytical skills.

Knowledge and hand on experience on functional and technical concepts of Manhattan WMS (WM, MIF, and SCI).
Experience on Oracle Retail and Fusion is an added advantage.
Previous experience in working with AMS will be a plus.

Role Description
Lead assessment of business and technology requirements in order to create solution architecture
Lead technical designs by working closely with Tech Lead and consulting engineers
Act as trusted advisor to customer and partners on all matters of architecture, technology, in Manhattan.
Collaborate with Manhattan, Client & other vendor teams.
Provide technical leadership to developers throughout ;review technical design documents and conduct code reviews, conduct technology workshops with customers, when appropriate
Coach and mentor others in customization
Submit status updates on all project activities to the Project Manager

Experience / Qualifications

Typically 8 - 10 years of relevant technical experience in Manhattan.
Proven experience in a customer facing role
Experience in Senior Engineering, technical leadership role, providing mentoring to others
Experience of leading software development teams is desired
Project Management experience is desired but not essential
Experience of interfacing to other systems desirable
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of one or more relevant software solutions in WMS Manhattan.

Additional skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team.
